Issue

  • Linux NFS server no longer gives out a NFS4 delegation in RHEL6.6 kernel
  • Linux NFS server unable to setup the NFS4 client callback path - CB_NULL never sent to the NFS client

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6 (NFS server)
    • kernel 2.6.32-502.el6 and above
    • kernel before 2.6.32-642.el6
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 (NFS server)
    • kernels earlier than 3.10.0-229.*el7
  • NFSv4
