MySQL upgrading from mysql-5.0 to mysql-5.5 is not possible in RHEL5

- Can we install Mysql-5.5 in RHEL5.4 ?
- How can we migrate MySQL from 5.0 to 5.5 ?
- What is the following error during the migration from 5.0 to 5.5?
Error : You can't use locks with log tables.
