Newly installed hypervisor with 3.5 RHEV-H fails to bring network up

Issue

  • Newly installed hypervisor is configured via the Text user interface to connect to RHEV-M
    • After is configured and connected, RHEV-M is used to perform the remaining configuration of bonds, networks, etc and host is rebooted.
    • Hypervisor is not bringing up after reboot and logging via console and interface ifcfg-em1* is not configured as expected

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor (RHEV-H) 3.5.1 - 20150421.0.el6
