"register_netdevice+0x1eb/0x450()" messages appears for the broadcome "tg3" based NICs in the system running on RHEL6.6 release.

Issue

  • We have recently update the underlying firmware of our server and have update the network drivers.
  • After reboot system is getting some of the following message for the interfaces, though system is up and running:
