SMBIOS UUID will appear mangled under Windows VMs that run on top of RHEL 6 and non-RHEV RHEL 7.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

Windows VMs will show UUID as mangled, specifically it will reverse the order of bytes in the first three parts of the UUID (separately for each part).
For example: for a VM with UUID of 97C60A04-65BF-4CFF-8970-6F3ED302B591,
the UUID will be shown as 040AC697-BF65-FF4C-8970-6F3ED302B591.

Environment

All qemu-kvm guests running on RHEL 6 and RHEL 7 hosts, with the exception of RHEL 7 hosts which are part of RHEV installation.
