  • Why does mount command continue to run after mounting NTFS drive?
  • After mounting the NTFS drive successfully as below,
# mount | grep mnt 
/dev/sdb1 on /mnt type fuseblk (rw,allow_other,blksize=4096)
  • The mount process continues to run, why?
# ps -ef | grep mount 
root 12566 1 62 11:51 ? 01:16:03 /sbin/mount.ntfs-3g /dev/sdb1 /mnt -o rw
