Tibco JNDI setup is not working

Issue

  • I am not sure the JNDI setup is working so wanted to get your confirmation and further advice.

    I noticed that I am not able to use the bindings or other JNDI names for example the connection factory. My goal is to have to add fewer properties to my MDBs and rely more on the resources configured in JBoss. However, I have realised that most steps in the guide are not adding any value and Step 2 (Create a genericjms, without the GenericResourceAdapter class) and Step 6 (adding the rar config) are needed for the sample MDB to work.

    The JNDI related config fails if I try to use it with the following error:
    connectionFactory=java:/jms/LBVCSXAGenericConnectionFactory): java.lang.ClassCastException: org.jboss.resource.adapter.jms.JmsConnectionFactoryImpl cannot be cast to javax.jms.XAConnectionFactory
