How to import certificate for java in RHEL 7 and RHEL 8 so that it does not get overwritten everytime the updates are installed?

  • We are using the RHEL openjdk to run a java app and need to add a root certificate authority (CA) to the CA certs. How can we do that in a way that won't be overwritten every time we install updates to the package?
