DNS-SD registration errors in /var/log/cups/error_log in RHEL

Issue

I noticed a recurring error:

DNS-SD registration of "printer name" failed with -65537

I am seeing hundred's of these errors. They do not seem to be preventing printing, but they are filling up my logs. Is this a "real" error or is it erroneous? If real, how do I fix it? If not, how do I make it stop?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.11
  • Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) 1.3.7
