Links on HP LPe1205A 8 Gb FC HBA ports are not coming up after the reboot

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • After performing the reboot on the server the link goes down from the OS side.
  • Link comes up after manually pulling out the fiber cable and plug it back in.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • HP LPe1205A 8 Gb FC HBA mezzanine card
