How can I shut down nodes in my EAP cluster so that transactions are completed before shutting down?
Issue
In cases where the user clicks on a particular link in our application that makes a series of database calls to build a dashboard, the application does not fail across from one server to another when the originating server is shut down (both stopped and forced).
We can refresh the page and the session then fails over - it does not immediately fail over.
How can I make sure that in-flight transactions are completed before a node is shut down?
