Why is the cache_dump.db file empty on my RHEL DNS server?
Issue
- Why am I getting the below error on my RHEL server in
/var/log/messages:-
Mar 27 16:13:32 server named[3926]: could not open dump file '/var/named/data/cache_dump.db': permission denied
- Even when I run
rndc dumpdb -allcommand I am not able thecache_dump.dbfile remains empty.
