net.ipv4.conf all or default settings in sysctl.conf do not apply in RHEL5
Issue
- I have disabled settings in RHEL6 using lines in
sysctl.confsuch as:
net.ipv4.conf.all.accept_redirects=0
net.ipv4.conf.default.accept_redirects=0
In RHEL5 this does not work. I need to change the setting on every network interface card separately, which causes a very long
sysctl.conffile.Is it possible in RHEL5 to disable settings such as IP redirects in a short way, as I did in RHEL6? The config above does not work in RHEL5.
Environment
