Is it possible to mix different storage types in a single RHEV Data Center?

Issue

  • We want to use SAN storage for production VMs and local storage on hypervisors for QA, test and staging VMs. Is it possible to attach FCP and local storage to the same Data Center?
  • I have a local storage Data Center and I get an error when I try to add remote NFS storage. Why?
  • Is it possible to use different LUNs for SD for clusters in one DC?
  • According to a RH group post all the hosts in a DC has to be able to see all the LUNs in the DC. So, to be able to use zoning for clusters, we have to create separate DC for each and every cluster which does not make to much sense.
