RHEV-H host reports mount and umount errors during bootup and shutdown

Issue

The following error messages are reported on the console during boot/startup and shutdown.

Mounting local filesystems:  mount: devpts already mounted or /dev/pts busy
mount: sysfs already mounted or /sys busy            [FAILED]
Umounting file systems:  umount:  /tmp/early-logs:  not mounted    [FAILED]
kill:  usage:  kill [-s sigspec | -n signum | -sigspec] pid jobspec ... or kill -l [sigspec]
Unmounting file system (retry):  umount2:  No such file or directory
umount:  /tmp/early-logs:  not found
umount2:  No such file or directory

Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor (RHEV-H) 6.6 (20150128.0.el6ev)
