Quorum disk daemon qdiskd fails to start with "Unable to match label to any device" in a RHEL 5 or 6 High Availability cluster
Issue
- qdiskd won't start. The following error is seen in /var/log/messages
qdiskd[4452]: <crit> Unable to match label 'qdisk' to any device
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 or 6 with the High Availability Add On
- Cluster configured to use a quorum device (
<quorumd/>in/etc/cluster/cluster.conf)
