RHEV-3.5 set Default Route on non-management network

Issue

  • Before RHEV 3.5 it was possible to set the default route (DEFROUTE=YES) on any desired interface.
  • With this version however at each host reboot the ifcfg files are overwritten and default route is set to the rhevm bridge.
  • We need all traffic originating from the host to go out a non-management interface. How can this be achieved?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV) 3.5+
  • vdsm-4.16.8.1
