RHEL6.5: HTTP 408 timeout message from IBM z/OS server

Issue

• network time out since upgrade from redhat 6.2 to 6.5
• Although this KCS was reported as an upgrade issue from the RHEL6.2 to 6.5 kernel the following is true:
  • There are instances of the same POST message succeeding on the RHEL6.5 system in the pcap.
  • The instances where the server sends a 408 timeout message does not show any problem regarding the client side at the TCP layer.
