  • Is there a mechanism to get the current version of an A-MQ install programatically ?

Resolution

You can not get the broker version using JMS/ActiveMQ api, however you can use JMX API to get the version. You need to fetch "org.apache.activemq --> Broker --> --> BrokerVersion" MBean attribute and display to get the version.
