Why is "systemd-readahead[xxxx]: Failed to read event: File too large" logged in /var/log/messages?

Issue

  • Following error is logged in /var/log/messages at boot time, this message only seems to appear once in the logs and does not occur at every boot up
Mar 31 15:01:56 hostname systemd-readahead[813]: Failed to read event: File too large
Mar 31 15:01:56 hostname systemd: systemd-readahead-collect.service: main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE

Environment
