Issue

  • Configuring iSCSI multipath during install results in slow booting system.
  • RHEL installs successfully on a multipathed iSCSI target however subsequent boots take upwards of 30 minutes or more.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
  • System with two adapters configured with iBFT and pointing to the same iSCSI target.
