jconsole.sh / jboss-cli.sh cannot connect when used from a MacOS with Oracle JDK 7u4
Issue
Oracle released their first official JDK for MacOS. Version 1.7.0_04 (also known as 7u4)
When starting jconsole.sh or jboss-cli.sh with the above JDK, neither can connect to JBoss EAP.
Environment
JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6.x
MacOS with Oracle JDK 1.7.0_04 and potentially later versions as well
