Why does kickstart installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux s390x stops at error "In interactive step cleardiskssel, can't continue" ?
Issue
- While trying to build a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6 guest on
zvm (ie s390x)using aFBAdisk via kickstart, following error appears
02:50:42,631 DEBUG : registered action: Create Format ext4 on partition dasdb1 (id 1)
In interactive step cleardiskssel, can't continue
- The kickstart file contains the following information on partitioning.
zerombr
bootloader --location mbr
partition / --onpart=dasdb1 --fstype=ext4
- The disk is a raw one.
