Why does ntpd fail to join multicast on boot?
Issue
- Why does ntpd fail to join multicast on boot in rhel7?
- ntpd not joining multicast on boot
- On a RHEL7.1 system, ntpd will not join the the multicast during the boot. One everything is running, if ntpd is restarted, it will join the multicast and sync time.
