Is there any way to force anaconda to disable accept-range during installation from kickstart?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Using a kickstart file to install Red Hat Enterprise Linux server.
  • Have a proxy server that is kind off pass-through between the installation and the repositories.
  • The problem seems to be that when the packages for installation through kickstart need to be fetched, anaconda is only requesting a specific range (bytes) from the package.
  • The proxy doesn't support it and also, accept-range is not an rfc obligatory option.
  • So tried to return accept-range: none but it seems anaconda won't accept it.
  • Is there a way during the install to disable the accept-range requisition when anaconda downloads files from the repositories via the proxy?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6
  • Kickstart
