Rule condition getting distorted on re-opening in JBoss BRMS 6.0

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Business Rule Management System (BRMS) 6.x

Issue

After creating a rule which has three all of the following condition within one any of the following (undistorted image), the first part of the rule that contains all of the following condition is getting distorted (distorted image).

Note that in the distorted image, it is missing the first all of the following and one of the conditions (homePhones matches ...). The source code has changed after saving and re-opening it.

Resolution

It is fixed in JBoss BRMS 6.1.

Root Cause

It was considered a bug as reported in BZ1174360 - Guidied Rule Editor: Unmarshalling of CompositeFieldConstraints does not work correctly.
