AUTOFS does not release mounted home directory

Issue

Four servers installed with RHEL7 and the HP System Management Health utilities have the home directories not not released after the timeout which have been mounted before by autofs.
What we did was:
Login as superuser

ls /home/some_user_which_is_not_currently_logged_in
