glibc upgrade causing erratic behaviour

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • After major downtime to upgrade glibc, some HP Gen8 servers show erratic behavior
  • We just upgraded glibc. Most (but not all) systems had this issue where it showed erratic issues, like NFS not working (and needing hard reset). Some show bad output with top/ps/w (example below), while a few are all OK. These are identical HP Blades.
