  • Volume group has been disappeared
  • "rootvg" Volume group not visible in any of lvm commands : 
# pvs

  /dev/mapper/mpath3   vgtest2 lvm2 a--    1.17T     0
  /dev/mapper/mpath4   vgtest3 lvm2 a--  100.00G  1.99G
  /dev/mapper/mpath8p1 vgtest4 lvm2 a--  200.00G 50.00G

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Logical Volume Manager (LVM) 2
