Some multipath device nodes do not exist in /dev/mapper after booting in RHEL 6
Issue
- Some multipath devices do not have device nodes in /dev/mapper/ even though
dmsetupandmultipathshow them as mapped - Some of the multipathed disk devices dont show up after boot
- After reboot one of the mount point did not come up because it did not find the device file.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6
device-mapper-multipathprior to release 0.4.9-56.el6
