Updating an empty file that is owned by another user but part of the same group fails with 'Operation not Permitted' on NFS served by AIX
Issue
Not able to modify a file with 0777 permissions in a mounted NFS share, error message:
bash: myfile: Operation not permitted
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (NFS Client)
- AIX 6.1.6.19 and 6.1.6.22 (NFS Server)
