IBM Tape drives not visible on Linux server after OS patching

Issue

• We have done OS patching of a Linux server with new kernel version 2.6.18-402.el5, but after patching and reboot, IBM tape drives are not visible on the server.

May you please suggest if we have to install some specific drivers.

Below Tape drives available on server will not be visible after OS patching.
