How can I set properties on a clone resource in a RHEL 6 or 7 High Availability cluster with pacemaker?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • When I try to update a resource clone set's interleave value with pcs resource update, it refuses
# pcs resource update resource2-clone interleave=true
Error: resource2 is already a clone resource
  • When I create a clone resource with pcs resource create --clone, the meta attributes get set on the primitive, not the clone set

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 or 7 with the High Availability Add On
  • pacemaker
  • One or more clone resources on which a clone meta attribute must be set
