Hypervisor reboot set onboot=no on network configuration file in RHEV hypervisor

Issue

  • After RHEV hypervisor is upgraded, onboot=no is being set in the network configuration file
  • Manually changing to onboot=yes followed by persisting the file does reset onboot=no during the next reboot
  • Version of vdsm-4.16.8.1-8.el6ev.x86_64 sets the ONBOOT option of additional interfaces to no
  • Network Interface not active after reboot
