Configuring GNOME idle time lock
Issue
- Configuring GNOME idle time lock at 15 min was problematic
- Running the command below leads to the error messages "Resolved address "xml:readwrite:/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory" to a writable configuration source at position 0"
$gconftool-2 --direct --config-source xml:readwrite:/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory --type int --set /apps/gnome-screensaver/idle_delay 15
