Problems configuring Jboss when invoking Web Service over SSL

Issue

  • When invoking the Web Service from Http to Https, we are getting the following exeptions in the Web Service client
com.sun.xml.internal.ws.client.ClientTransportException: HTTP transport error: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused

javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: 
   sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: 
   sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: 
   unable to find valid certification path to requested target
