SSSD caching does not work when authenticating users on RHEL6
Issue
We use SSSD to authenticate 150K+ users in the domain. Login process takes about 2-3 seconds, when servers idling. Login times become inappropriately long when servers are running under high workload (e.g. during classes, when may users login simultaneously). We need your advice on improving SSSD responsiveness. E.g., if we cache the whole domain tree locally at times of low load (overnight), may it reduce time SSSD takes to authenticate users under high load? And is it possible to do so?
