Mounting NFS shares results in error "kernel: RPC: failed to contact portmap (errno -5)."
Issue
- When attempting to mount an NFS share from an NFS client, the mount command exhibits the following errors:
Jun 4 15:06:30 tx2xpvlxfr kernel: portmap: server localhost not responding, timed out
Jun 4 15:06:30 tx2xpvlxfr kernel: RPC: failed to contact portmap (errno -5).
