What is the best way to access rule execution results after the rules are executed from SwitchYard ?

Issue

  • Is there an example which can demonstrate to how to get the result from the rule execution out of Decision Tables, where the rules are executed through a SwitchYard service? Is it possible that the result can be of type collection like java.util.HashMap ?
  • With the current SwitchYard offerings, it appears that the only way possible to pass results back to the SwitchYard service is by using a global as shown in the documentation Knowledge Services. Is there any other better way of doing this?
