Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • System was crashed manually to test the kdump but kdump failed to generate vmcore and following error was printed on the console
page_to_pfm:Can't convert the address of page descriptor (2d2d2d2d....) to pfm
makedumpfile Failed
  • A zero byte vmcore-incomplete file was created.
