How can you deploy a VMWare vm with a static ip?

Issue

  • How does CloudForms deploy a RHEL VM to VMware and configure the host with a static ip on the network?

  • Example: I have my "sample" template host, and tell CloudForms to deploy a new VM based off that host. How can/does CloudForms connect into the newly spun-up VM that has no network, to configure a static address?
