JBoss ON not displaying calltime metrics due to "Failed to acquire a permit within 5 MINUTES" error

Issue

  • Call Time Metrics Not Displaying
  • Issue with displaying the call time metrics on my JON UI.
  • Trying to view call time metrics keeps timing out on the console with no metrics getting displayed.
  • JBoss ON server.log contains errors similar to:
00:00:00,890 ERROR [org.jboss.as.ejb3.invocation] (http-/10.1.2.3:7080-7) JBAS014134: EJB Invocation failed on component CallTimeDataManagerBean for method public abstract void org.rhq.enterprise.server.measurement.CallTimeDataManagerLocal.addCallTimeData(java.util.Set): javax.ejb.EJBException: JBAS014516: Failed to acquire a permit within 5 MINUTES
  • Call time (Response Time) data are not displayed and message is shown:
Could not load call time data. This occurred because the server is taking a long time to complete this request. Please be aware that the server may still be processing your request and it may complete shortly. You can check the server logs to see if any abnormal errors occurred.
