How do I configure nodes deployed by rhel-osp-installer to sync with ntp server automatically?

Issue

  • I have deployed a HA configuration with 2x Control Nodes and 2x Compute Nodes using RHEL OSP 5 on RHEL 7 nodes. The deployment works without any errors. After deployment, I checked several services, one of these services is NTP. My assumption is that NTP has to be running on all control nodes of the Cluster, because a cluster setup without time synchronization doesn't make sense and correct NTP server details are configured during rhel-osp-installer setup.

  • How can I make sure that NTP is configured on all nodes during deployment?
