ksh using typeset -Z gets unexpected results in RHEL5
Issue
- Unexpected results are returned from a ksh script when using typeset -Z.
- Assigning a right-justified (typedef -R or -Z) variable to a smaller size may result in unexpected output. This is reproducible when the EDITOR environment variable is exported.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.6
- ksh-20100621
