Resource group is moving back to original node even though stickiness is set in a RHEL 6 or 7 High Availability cluster with pacemaker
Issue
- If a resource is moved to the other node (
pcs resource move
or failing the node) then once it's node is back up it will move back despite the fact thatstickiness=100
is set and there are no location constraints that would out weigh that forcing it to move back. - I've set
stickiness
on a group but it still relocates back to its original node when it rejoins.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 or 7 with the High Availability Add On
pacemaker
- A resource or group with the meta option
stickiness
set above 0, or above the score of a correspondinglocation constraint
- That resource does not also have
resource-stickiness
set, the cluster propertydefault-resource-stickiness
is at the default value of 0, and there is no resource defaultresource-stickiness
set
- That resource does not also have
