No error is thrown when target directory does not exist while using File based Reference Binding in SwitchYard

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • When a File-based reference binding used in SwitchYard has a folder endpoint that does not exist then no error is thrown.
  • The same thing happens if the reference endpoint is trying to write to a broken link.
  • Is there any set of properties that can be configured to capture this error within the component to ensure that the endpoint is working?

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Fuse Service Works (FSW)
    • 6.0.x
