Add "Usage - Percentage" metric for EAP resources
Issue
- I want the option to measure the heap in procent as in a JVM for EAP 5.
- In a JVM for EAP 5 there is an option to measure the used heap with metric "Heap Usage Procentage" but this does not exist for EAP 6.
- It seems that currently it is not possible to see what amount of memory (as percentage of committed heap) is used in EAP 6.
- Adding "Usage - Percentage" metric for EAP 6 instances where this metric would show the amount of memory as percentage of committed heap - "Usage - Committed") in a similar way as it is currently done for EAP 5.
- Add Heap Size in JBOSS EAP 6 for Percentage
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (JON) 3.2, 3.3
- Started and imported both EAP 5 and EAP 6 instances;
-
For EAP 5 navigate to:
JBoss ON UI -> JBossAS Servers -> EAP 5 instance -> JVM -> Memory Subsystem -> Monitoring -> Scheduling; -
For EAP 6 navigate to:
JBoss ON UI -> JBossAS7 Standalone Servers -> EAP 6 instance -> platform-mbean -> memory-pool -> Memory Pool Resources -> Monitoring -> Schedules
