Why doesn't "net.ipv6.conf.default.dad_transmits = 0" have an effect for a specific network interface?
Issue
- I set "net.ipv6.conf.default.dad_transmits = 0" in /etc/sysctl.conf.
- I expected that the value of /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/eth0/dad_transmits becomes 0 upon the default value, but it was still 1 after reboot.
- Why was not it reflected?
