usage of serial console with high printk activity due to not ready devices prevents system from booting

Issue

Description of problem:

High io error due to devices Not Ready, NR, loads up printk and with serial console enabled causes softlockup.
Host failed to boot with kernel panic with attached EMC "not ready" SAN devices.
If lpfc driver removed and loaded in /etc/rc.local with softlockup_panic set system livelock when serial console is in /boot/grub/grub.conf.
If serial console configuration from /boot/grub/grub.conf is removed then this problem doesn't happen.
