usage of serial console with high printk activity due to not ready devices prevents system from booting
Issue
Description of problem:
- High io error due to devices Not Ready, NR, loads up printk and with serial console enabled causes softlockup.
- Host failed to boot with kernel panic with attached EMC "not ready" SAN devices.
- If lpfc driver removed and loaded in
/etc/rc.localwith softlockup_panic set system livelock when serial console is in/boot/grub/grub.conf. - If serial console configuration from
/boot/grub/grub.confis removed then this problem doesn't happen.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2
