Issue

Description of problem:

  • High io error due to devices Not Ready, NR, loads up printk and with serial console enabled causes softlockup.
  • Host failed to boot with kernel panic with attached EMC "not ready" SAN devices.
  • If lpfc driver removed and loaded in /etc/rc.local with softlockup_panic set system livelock when serial console is in /boot/grub/grub.conf.
  • If serial console configuration from /boot/grub/grub.conf is removed then this problem doesn't happen.
