Parted does not show partition type for EFI GPT disks

Issue

• Parted in RHEL5 does not show the partition type (primary, extended, logical) for EFI GUID Partition Table disks:

• Parted in RHEL6 does show this:

• How can we tell what type partitions are in RHEL5?
